EMD On-Line Payments Site LIVE

EMD now has the ability to accept your payment with any these credit cards, or through an electronic funds transfer (electronic check.) On-line transactions are subject to a convenience fee. Just before completing the transaction the amount of payment and the convenience fee will be confirmed. You will have the option NOT to complete the transaction at that time.

Please note: The convenience fee is not a Sacramento County fee. It is retained by the Service Bureau (Official Payments Corp.) It will be an additional charge showing on your next credit card or bank statement.

If you have received a bill from the Environmental Management Department and have a balance due, you may go directly to the payment site (link will open in a new browser page) where you will be asked your account number. (The EMD account numbers start with 'AR' followed by 7 digits.) You will then be able to pay the amount due on your account.

If you are paying EMD for a service for which a bill is not issued (food school, some permit applications, temporary events, facility evaluations, cross-connect tags, etc.) please visit the Environmental Management Department's cashiering window or call EMD at 916-875-8440, where the staff will help you determine the amount and type of payment. Once you have the payment amount and payment type, please choose from the following options to help us correctly credit your payment to you. Also, please include the facility, site or event name for your payment.
